Bilingual Patient Account Representative (Spanish/English)
Description:
If you enjoy communicating and interacting with people, check this position out. You will be receiving inbound calls from all over the country from people inquiring about their patient accounts, bills, insurance, Explanation of Benefits, etc.. Because of the broad variety of calls you will receive, you'll quickly become an expert on the complexities of the medical billing industry in general, and of medical insurance specifically.
While doing this, you will work within the bounds of very specific guidelines to ensure that patient confidentiality is protected at all times.
Requirements:
Previous Call Center experience is strongly preferred. Customer services skills, a clear speaking voice and a helpful personality are required. Also, a fluent command of the English and Spanish languages is required. Medical insurance experience or knowledge is not required, but helpful. The call center is open from 7 am through 7pm Monday through Friday. The shifts are 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm, and 10am-7pm. Later shifts are paid a shift differential. While shift preference is considered, departmental needs and seniority may override preferences. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent for consideration.
