Description of Duties

  • Supports designers, producers and other production staff members with logistics, administration, scheduling, English/Japanese translations, and other production support services such as acquiring materials needed to execute assigned portions of software products

  • Activities conducted may include, but not be limited to managing production information, document and library, update contents in SharePoint for the development team

  • Researches and organizes applicable information for members of product development teams

  • Receives work assignments in the form of near-term tasks

  • Carries out highly routine tasks and procedures

  • Follows highly defined procedures


 
Summary of Requirements
 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience

  • Ability to communicate complex business information fluently in Japanese and English

  • Native-level Japanese and English skills, both written and verbal, including jargon, slang, and idioms

  • Ability to work with highly confidential information

  • Experience using various document publishing and database software (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, Adobe Acrobat, FileMaker Pro) preferred

 
Education 
  • High school graduation, supplemented by courses in secretarial training or business administration or equivalent combination of training and experience

  • Additional studies of English/Japanese translation and interpretation are required
