Apogee Resource Services is a national operations management firm that specializes in on-premise services for the manufacturing, packaging, and distribution industries. Apogee is currently looking for a qualified Bilingual Recruiter to support operations in Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas.
Summary
The Bilingual Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, selecting and placing qualified candidates (internal and external) in a timely manner in order to meet the staffing needs of the organization while ensuring compliance with employment guidelines as well as Company policies.
Principal Functions & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships in the community by networking, coordinating job fairs, posting flyers, attending community meetings, calling on technical schools, unemployment offices, etc.
- Develop and manage working relationships with hiring managers (internal and external) through consultation and appropriate communication in order to determine site specific hiring needs and/or forecast staffing plans.
- Manage candidate process from initial contact through new hire orientation.
- Promote job opportunities to qualified candidates.
- Effectively utilize internal and external recruiting resources and tools to source qualified candidates for staffing needs.
- Screen potential candidates by following Apogee’s Screening & Selection Process to further determine appropriate job fit.
- When applicable, present most qualified candidates to hiring manager with recommendation for interviews.
- Conduct pre-employment screening (background, drug screen, job related assessments, references) for candidates.
- Maintain accurate statistical records for tracking recruiting methods and results.
- Update and maintain candidate database.
- Travel to support existing client sites. Also, travel to support and implement new accounts as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or related recruiting experience.
- Proficient bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills.
- 1-2 years verifiable work history preferably in a service-oriented business/industry.
- Be available to work before and after typical office hours as work may demand.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent people skills
- Self starter
- Ability to travel is a MUST!
