Billing Claims Specialist

Millennium is seeking a Claims Specialist in our Cranberry Township location. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and be a self-motivated, energetic, proactive, organized individual whom is interested and willing to make an impact with our growing team. Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, process and analyze electronic and paper pharmacy claims with varying degrees of complexity in a timely manner and in compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, knowledge of basic pharmacy practices and procedures.

• Comprehensive understanding of third party pharmacy benefit plan parameters.

• Ability to troubleshoot third party prescription claim discrepancies.

• Pharmacy based computer experience preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years retail and/or Long Term Care pharmacy setting experience.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, communications and mathematics skills (required).

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Able to work overtime with little or no notice, as needed.

• Attend staff meetings, teleconferences and patient care conferences as needed.

• Ability to lift minimum weight of 40 pounds, and able to perform repetitive standing, sitting, kneeling stooping, bending, walking, stretching, reaching, and use full range of body motions.
