This position will be responsible for reviewing and posting charges into physician practice software ensuring appropriate Medical Codes are utilized using ICD-9-CM and CPT 4 coding conventions.  Periodically will reviews medical records to assure specificity of diagnoses, procedures and appropriate/optimal reimbursement for professional charges.  The candidate will perform other tasks as required, paying attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualified candidates must have: Minimum 2yrs experience in physician billing with skills in coding with ICD 9-CM and CPT.  Certification AHIMA or AAPC preferred.  Knowledge of McKesson's Practice Partner software a plus.
