Responsibilities:

GBVHC has a recent opening for an experience Medical Billing Representative responsible for preparing claims in a timely and efficient manner for electronic transmission.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Analyze and review denials: Resolve denial issues and complete timely rebilling: Review and resolve open accounts from aging reports; Maximize our collection rate.  Prepare self-pay statements and third party claim forms.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma required.  Associates Degree or position-related certification preferred.  1-4 years of medical third-party billing and collection experience required.  Strong demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.  Strong knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding knowledge
