Luxury Automotive Dealer seeks experienced and motivated Collision Center Manager


Job Purpose:



Ø  Directs the activities of body shop employees in performing body repairs, including meeting time schedules and productivity levels, and maintaining quality standards.


Ø  Maintains client satisfaction standards while controlling expenses and providing a planned profit.


Ø  Develops business through insurance adjusters, clients, and other sources to assure an adequate sales volume.



Primary Responsibilities:



Ø  Forecast goals and objectives for the department. Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the body shop.


Ø  Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of all body shop employees.


Ø  Direct and schedule the work of all body shop employees. Monitor technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.


Ø  Give fair estimates on costs and time required for body work.


Ø  Establish and maintain good working relationships with insurance adjusters.


Ø  Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients to encourage repeat and referral business.


Ø  Follow up on parts department orders to ensure parts availability.


Ø  Monitor progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed.


Ø  Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks. Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality. Check quality of completed work.


Ø  Monitor paper flow to ensure that all documents are accounted for, filled out completely and legibly, and filed or distributed to the appropriate parties. Prepare final billing for completed repair orders.


Ø  Control accounts receivables for body repair work.


Ø  Ensure that proper safety equipment is available and being used properly.


Ø  Facilitate and/or conduct technical training and send employees to appropriate training schools as needed.



 Skills – Experience:



Ø  Minimum 5 years body shop experience


Ø  Previous experience managing 15+ employees


Ø  ADP Experience



Education



Ø  College degree or equivalent experience
