EXPERIENCED HVAC/BOILER SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Salary Range: $25.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Regular Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm, M-F
Location: Delanco, NJ
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Powerhouse Equipment is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic boiler service technician to work out of our Delanco, NJ office. We are looking for a service tech with expertise on packaged boilers searching for a career in the boiler business. The ideal candidate can work independently and doesn't mind OT.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 16 years
Must speak, understand write English
United States Citizen with valid government ID
Pass drug and alcohol test
Possess basic hand tools
Ability to travel locally
Work overtime when required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Read and mark-up electrical schematics
- Build boiler control panels
- Start boilers including load balancing, setting combustion and tuning
- Repair fuel delivery equipment
- Program flame safeguard and combustion control systems
- Fan balancing
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
- Advanced boiler and system troubleshooting
- Advanced mechanical knowledge of boilers
SKILLS
- Hands on experience with package boilers, including Cleaver Brooks
- Understanding of boiler combustion process
- Understanding of complete boiler system including feedwater supply, water treatment, emission reduction, etc.
- Proficiency with portable exhaust gas analyzer
- Basic computer skills
