Fast growing kid’s furniture company looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Comptroller/Financial manager
We are a young, fast growing children’s furniture company with a unique concept and a bright future. We have been in business since 2005, and are looking to build our small team with a competent, experienced bookkeeper/controller/financial manager, who can both, execute daily tasks, and provide strategic leadership/be part of our core management group.
Location: Lower Fairfield County, Connecticut
Key requirements:
- Well versed in all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, payroll.
- Experienced with accounting systems like QuickBooks, but more importantly with larger systems (Great Plains/Oracle/Mass90/SAP/Syspro) or similar.
- Self starter who can drive company towards success and can help implement best practices for a company in growth.
Other considerations:
- Daily tasks include but are not limited to regular bookkeeping, issuing invoices, credit notes, collection calls, general controlling, financial planning, monthly reporting, purchase order entry, tax preparation, inventory checks, managing sales commissions, payroll etc.
- We are implementing SYSPRO – an ERP system - from QuickBooks, and need experienced person to help manage and implement the transition.
- Experience in dealing with a global/international supply chain a plus
- Must be able to travel (also internationally).
- Must provide leadership on establishing Best Practices
- Must be able and willing to do other tasks, as this is a small business environment and we all pull together toward our common goals.
- 3 month trial period
