Construction company based in Lower Westchester, NY seeks a candidate to perform bookkeeping and administrative duties. Our firm contracts directly with NYC agencies and 95% of our business is located within the 5 boroughs. This position will be based in Lower Westchester and will report directly to owner.

Requirements:

Strong Accounting Background – AR/AP, Union Reports and Certified Payroll, Peachtree Software or similar

Minimum 2-3 years working in the construction industry

Familiar with building materials a plus

Proficient in Excel, Word and Internet

Small office experience a plus

Seeking an individual with ability to handle heavy work load with time limitations. Must be highly versatile, work well under pressure while maintaining accuracy and speed. Excellent organizational skills are a must.
