This position is responsible for providing a high level of service while properly processing GCA products, including check cashing, credit, debit, and Western Union transactions, for casino patrons and employees.  Additionally, the position is responsible for the full accounting of all funds entrusted during a shift.

Requirements:

• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external patrons.
• Cashes checks and processes other GCA products, in accordance with property contract.
• Demonstrates ability to balance cash transactions and maintain proper control of all assigned funds.
• Demonstrates reliability by reporting to work consistently in proper uniform and as scheduled.
• Assists in the preparation and timely submittal of paperwork for the company headquarters, as required by established procedures.
• Assists with daily activities, such as safe counts and equipment checks and cleaning, as assigned, and immediately reports any issues to management.
• Maintains professional relationships and excellent communication with management and associates of GCA and the property.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months cash handling experience in a casino, banking, or retail environment required.  Special consideration may be given to individuals with insufficient cash handling experience, who have an accounting or financial background.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Experience using personal computers and MS Office applications required.
• Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to be licensed by governing regulatory agency, as applicable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment that is noisy, stressful and where smoking by patrons is permitted.
• May work in a standing position for 8+ hours.
• Requires bending, reaching, twisting, squatting, and occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
• Extreme repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, and telephone and in counting large sums of currency.
