Job Description:
- Responsible for adhering to Air Force Technical Orders and TCNO for all configurations.
- Generate trouble tickets for recording, tracking and generating reports on TCNO status and compliance status.
- Perform vulnerability assessment of all Air National Guard (ANG) Demilitarized Zones.
- Monitor virus attacks and other security violations while taking the necessary steps for escalation.
- Inspect firewall audit logs to review suspected intrusions and violations.
- Assist with installation and configuration of firewalls.
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot firewalls, mail relays, switch/router ACLs, load balancers, intrusion detection systems, and proxy servers.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Intrusion Prevention Boundary devices.
- Monitor and manage the Symantec Anti-Virus central console.
- This is a second shift position.
Qualifications:
- Successful candidates will have a Bachelors degree and 2 years relevant professional experience working with firewalls, proxy servers, SMTP gateways and enterprise Symantec Anti-Virus; or commensurate education and experience.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to interact with various teams and government clients.
- Security+ certification.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Prior experience working with the ANG preferred.
This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred) and to maintain the clearance.
