Branch Manager- Armored / Cash In Transit

Brink’s U.S., a division of Brink’s, Incorporated, is the premiere provider of armored car transportation, ATM servicing, currency and coin processing, document destruction and other value added services to financial institutions, retailers and other commercial and government entities.  The company has a proud history of providing growth and advancement opportunities for its employees.  We have a challenging opportunity for an Armored Branch Manager.

 

This position reports directly to the Regional District Manager.  The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the secure, safe and efficient operation of an armored car operation.  In this position you will lead a dedicated staff and you will have full P&L responsibility for the branch. This position also requires extensive coordination with other on-site operations and you will have significant contact with our customers.

 

Specific Job Duties:

·         Maintain a safe and secure environment with the goal of ensuring that all employees work and return home safely

·         Hire, schedule, train and develop staff

·         Create a cooperative team atmosphere of employee engagement

·         Ensure route efficiency through appropriate interaction with branch personnel and route analysis

·         Maintain and provide quality customer service and good communications with the customer base

·         Leverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and efficiency

·         Develop, implement and monitor processes and procedures/controls to ensure superior results and adherence to standards

·         Secure inventories by executing controls and ensuring strict compliance with security procedures

·         Other duties as required

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include:

·         Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D.; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

·         Minimum of 3-5 years operations supervisory experience; 5+ years supervisory experience preferred

Demonstrated ability in:

·         Maintaining a safe and secure workplace

·         Managing people and staffing a branch/facility- good general employee relations and human resource management skills

·         Promoting good customer relations; customer focus

·         Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task

·         Promoting process improvement

·         Performing scheduling and routing analysis

·         Managing profitability- good comprehension of finance and budgeting

·         Must be willing to work in an armed environment and able to qualify for a firearms permit

·         Solid work history and credit record

·         Strong ethics and integrity
