Providing sales and service leadership at our Hyde Park Square branch office, you will act as a market leader in the local community and take responsibility for driving new client acquisition, retention and client and employee satisfaction to meet or exceed branch goals. You'll be accountable for marketing products and services to generate profitable revenue by calling on small businesses and developing centers of influence; and networking in the community; and partnering with and referring business to appropriate sales professionals in Retail, Investments Services, Mortgage or Business Banking to meet client needs

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the Branch team is trained on Key's products, sales, and service models
  • Recruiting talent, interviewing and selecting Branch team with involvement from Area Retail Leader.
  • Maintaining communication among the team to determine clients' needs and identifying opportunities for the Relationship Managers and other appropriate sales professionals
  • Maintaining an active calling plan for Book of Business clients and prospects
  • Engaging business partners as needed to bring the best solution to the client
  • Encouraging business referrals in every sales process to generate profitable revenue
  • Communicating across the branch team to build a strong relationship with all team members, create realistic expectations in the sales process and effectively resolve differences
  • Assuming accountability for Risk Management and Compliance for the branch within established parameters
  • Ensuring that the Branch operations are operating effectively/efficiently, reporting requirements and client needs are being met

The candidate we seek must possess superior leadership and communication skills, as well as:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a sales capacity with demonstrated ability in coaching a successful sales team
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements/concepts, consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to income, and credit reports - small business, branch profitability and banking products
  • Proven track record in leading a team to financial success
  • Knowledge of operations (audit, compliance, fraud, loss)
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
