Job Summary:
Supervise the administrative personnel and operations; make recommendations for the development, implementation and improvement of departmental operations, policies, and procedures
Essential Job Functions:
1. Branches first point of contact regarding questions on processes and systems issues. (All lines of Business) Issue Resolution to include topics such as:
Clearance | Effective Rate Change |
Quoting | Broker Coding |
Binding | New Broker Appointments |
Policy Issuance | Accounting Issues |
Endorsements | Loss Runs |
Finance Notices | BOR Issues |
Coding Issues (all Control Reports) | Cancellation/Reinstatement/Non Renewal Issues |
2. Directs, trains, assigns and evaluates administrative personnel in the performance of a variety of professional, administrative and clerical support tasks.
3. Develops and recommends policies and procedures, helps to develops written procedures to clarify or describe standard practices, helps coordinates dissemination and implementation of procedures.
4. Coordinates all administrative needs for the branch office.
5. Oversee the Branch filing to include:
Filing room staff scheduling
Filing room purging
6. Oversee document storage for the branch to ensure that filing space is available when needed. Coordinate with home office to have items scanned.
7. Maintain compliance with general accounting and claims practices, rules and instructions as it may relate to the areas in which Administration is involved.
8. Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at Company.
9. Coordinate the ordering of supplies.
10. Work with IT on testing of new systems, coordinating email blasts to broker.
11. Help plan meetings and large broker events.

1. Performing special projects and other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:
- College Degree preferred
- Three to five years of administrative experience
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong Problem Solving Skills
- Insurance Industry Knowledge a plus
