The Branch Sales Manager is responsible for revenue generation and overall Sales operations in the Medford, Oregon area. Has primary responsibility for supervision, training, development, and on-going motivation of sales team.
- Responsibility for Sales Team:
Maintain sales force in which all sales employees have the capacity to work and produce results at quota level or greater. - Maintain 100% manpower in territory and ensure that a backlog of qualified candidates is on file.
- Participate in candidate interviewing, and make effective/timely termination decisions within company guidelines.
- Insure that all Reps understand their job description, give comprehensive new hire training, and proactively mentor/coach reps for continued development.
- Track all sales employees' daily activities, respond quickly and appropriately to all deviations in sales reps' activities/results.
- Responsible for conducting performance appraisals and any salary planning actions.
Other Responsibilities:
- Obtain & coordinate data & information from staff.
- Research and develop lists of potential customers.
- Do market research to determine customer needs & provide information to appropriate staff.
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets.
- Establish & maintain industry contacts that lead to sales.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations.
- Participate in sales forecasting and planning, and meet established sales quotas and revenue goals.
- Produce regular reports for upper management.
Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications for this position include the following:
- Industry Experience is REQUIRED.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience managing territories and state-of-the-art product offerings is a plus.
- A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends and how they would apply to real world projects.
- Demonstrated coaching/mentoring experience.
- Must be computer literate; proficient with MS Office.
- Must be willing to relocate or reside within commuting distance to the Medford office.
