About the Job
Our client, a leading IT services and solutions consulting company, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a U.S. Government client’s medical information technology enhancement project in San Antonio, TX. This position will be an integral part of team responsible for designing and developing new processes and making current processes more efficient.

As a Systems Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Providing systems engineering support in the development of a level I and level II support infrastructure for multi-location, fielded medical applications and toolsets, as well as sustainment of a centralized component by using proven methodologies based on demonstrated past performance of similar requirements
- Designing processes around successful service oriented models
- Handling fundamental processes including, but not limited to: call handling, problem resolution management, call monitoring, escalation management, workflow, service level management, customer satisfaction surveying, metric reporting, change management, and contingency planning
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of practical experience in Medical Systems or a laboratory environment
- Associates degree in Electrical, Software, Systems or Industrial Engineering; Physics; or Computer Science; or related technical field supporting Science, Technology, or Engineering of value to Medical systems such as Biosciences or Human Sciences; Biology, Biochemistry, Pre-Med, Psychology, etc.
- Must have demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Medical Information Systems design and integration
- Medical Systems Test and Evaluation planning and execution
- Software requirements analysis, design, integration, development, application and testing
- Medical Information Systems configuration management planning, development and implementation
- Automated tools development to support testing.
- Virtualization technologies
- Certifications: ITIL Foundations, Security+
- Detailed-oriented, willingness to assist other team members, and ability to meet scheduling deadlines
Desired Qualifications:
- Solid experience with Medical Systems in a DoD environment strongly preferred
- Certifications: ITIL Intermediate Level
