Interbrand, one of the largest brand consultancies is seeking individuals with a passion for brand governance to be responsible for the onsite and ongoing review, response and tracking of brand related questions across multiple product brands at Microsoft. We are looking for talented people who have a balance of design, production, analytical and communication skills to manage the Brand Help Desk. Candidates must have an understanding of Microsoft and Adobe applications and previous experience in customer support a plus.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Help with resolution of day-to-day brand inquiries (customer service - email or phone support) as they pertain to brand, logo, naming, design, messaging and co-branding by tracking and responding to inquiries with brand direction and guidance
- Evaluation and design guidance on collateral materials.
- Ensuring all submitted materials are “on brand” by brand standards
- Elevating questions and identifying the most appropriate resource, when needed and ranking submissions based on type and complexity
- Implementation of standards and applications for all Microsoft brands, policies, etc. and identifying “best practices” sample pieces
- Create list of FAQs based on each Alias program
- Spotting and communicating trends, creating list of FAQs based on each program, making recommendations for improvements and creating weekly status reports
- Development of customized artwork when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and additional programs such as: InDesign, Quark Xpress, Photoshop, Illustrator among other art/design software programs
- Must know both Windows XP and Macintosh OS platforms.
- Print Production knowledge (3-5 years) and understanding of file types, formats and how help identify which file formats are best suitable for various applications, platforms, etc.
- Broad knowledge base in the field of brand and identity applications (3-5 years) and a firm understanding of the role brand guidelines play
- Good knowledge base on website navigation.
