Do you consider yourself an “early adopter” of every new trend, from beauty to tech to fashion? Are you able to play with a product, research it, and then conceptualize how it should be better? Then being a Sexy Hair Brand Manager might be the role for you. Working within a highly dedicated and passionate team, our Brand Managers are responsible for creating the next wave of professional beauty products. From concept to launch, Brand Managers push their ideas into reality with a mix of strategic vision (market research, trend forecasting, portfolio analysis, sales data analysis), and creativity (eye for photography, beauty mindset & fashion trend identification), along with a positive & hardworking outlook.




What we offer


 
Help develop brand and sub-brand plans to support sustainable, profitable growth and achieve company goals 
Drive innovation in all fields of product creation, from packaging selection to formula approvals and artworks
Participate in product photo/video shoots
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Trade Marketing, Sales, PR, Supply Chain, Education
Generate compelling claims for all new products working with R&D & Legal
Seek internal and external insights through evaluations, surveys, and focus groups
Helps maintain marketing assets current
Stay connected to the industry with field visits, trade show attendance, etc.
Market Analysis, Research & Portfolio Development
Analyzing sales data (excel) and come up with recommendations on products, customers & market needs
Understand / bring key insights from current and future market trends and dynamics

Qualification:

Who we are looking for


 
Bachelor's Degree OR Cosmetology degree required
4+ years of experience in product development, trade marketing, or brand management - beauty or personal care preferred
Knowledge in brand building, new product innovation and commercialization
Professional understanding of sub-disciplines such as e-com, digital, events, and PR
Creative mind with ability to implement category-leading product concepts
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convince & influence
Demonstrated collaborative approach to solve strategic issues
Highly organized and comfortable multi-tasking
Helps other succeed – a true team player, displays empathy, mindfulness & curiosity
High level of passion, initiative, and assertiveness
Travel - 20%
