Bridge Project Manager for our Transportation practice in Dallas.

General Summary

We are seeking a Bridge Project Manager supporting our TxDOT, NTTA, county, municipal, and/or public private partnership transportation projects.  The ideal candidate will be experienced developing and executing complete plan, specifications and estimate (PS&E) packages for structural packages, and assisting clients in construction review of shop drawings and RFIs.   Position requires considerable knowledge of various types of bridge structure designs using AASHTO LRFD, Texas bridge standards and codes and related design software.  Required experience will include steel and concrete bridge design, bridge layouts, and design of box culverts and retaining walls.

• Leading design teams


• Problem solving and planning


• Being accountable for project development, coordination and execution


• Coordinating with parallel teams and with other disciplines


• Performing QA/QC review


• Providing project status reports

 Specific Requirements

• BS degree in Civil Engineering, Masters degree a plus


• 8 to12 years of experience in bridge and other transportation related structural design.


• Registered as a Professional Engineer Licensed in Texas


• Must have in-depth knowledge of TxDOT practices and procedures, with excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Proficient in MS Excel, CAP18, PSTSR14, BGS, STAAD, Mathcad and PCA Column.  Knowledge of Geopak a plus.


• Ability to multi-task


• Uses resources efficiently and effectively


• Takes initiative to be highly motivated


• Work independently, work as part of a team, or lead a team


• Adhere to schedule and budget

• Demonstrate a good work ethic
