We are looking for Experienced Broadband Technicians in the Hot Springs Village, AR area to fulfill demand maintenance by troubleshooting and repairing the distribution network from Bridger to customer electronic devices. Maintains network integrity by performing preventative maintenance of the distribution network thru active monitoring.

The BROADBAND TECH has the experience to install, disconnect, reconnect, repair, test and troubleshoot Suddenlink services including video, data and telephone from tap to device. Skilled in locates and performing service audits. Has the ability to determine customer service levels and recommend upgrades or sells additional products. Adheres to established maintenance windows for any and all outages. Educates customers regarding their service. Can work scheduled days as well as unscheduled days and beyond regular work hours as required.



Essential Job Functions Include:
• Vision ability: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus; ability to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires
• Ability to work while standing 50 - 70% of the time
• Ability to work in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and attics by crawling, bending, reaching, twisting
• Ability to carry, climb and operate extension ladder, (approx. 28 ft high and 75 pounds)
• Ability to climb poles using gaffs, hooks and climbing belt as needed
• Ability to drive Company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED equivalent; valid state driver’s license and good driving record required. Working knowledge of Windows based PC, experience working with electronic, electrical, RF, sonar or fiber optic equipment. Experience servicing and troubleshooting cable, telecommunications or electronic equipment. Skill in using small hand and power tools.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Work indoors in poorly ventilated areas such as attics during extreme heat
• Work performed near power lines and electricity
• Work, including travel, outdoors in adverse weather conditions day or night
• Exposure to dust, dirt, noise, insects, cleaning solutions
