Reporting to the Brokerage Operations Manager of a multi-million, debt free, privately held transportation and logistics organization in business for 30 years, focused in the food logistics channel with partnerships among its Fortune 500 client list of food manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and restaurant chains. As a premier food logistics partner the key performance indicators that matter most to clients are outstanding customer service, financial stability, custom solutions, on time reliability, and cost savings. Responsible for interfacing with customers, managing shipper and carrier relationships, sourcing carriers, generating business leads, and tracking load status. Will develop action plans for each customer, solve supply chain problems, negotiate carrier pricing, and implement solutions. Responsible for helping businesses of all sizes to improve the efficiency and cost of transportation. Challenge is to secure new clients, and carriers while servicing and expanding existing account base, increasing revenues and maximizing profitability.
