Build Automation Engineer

Sedona Technologies, a leading recruiting firm specializing in technical positions, has a client in Austin, Texas that has a contract placement opening for a Build Automation Engineer.
Requirements (Minimum):
5 years experience designing, developing, and coordinating build automation to streamline release processes across platforms (Windows .NET and WebSphere) and environments (Dev, Test, Prod, including virtual environments)
5 years ability to work in a team environment and to communicate well both orally and in writing
3 years experience with software packaging
2 years experience developing and maintaining object oriented applications
2 years experience with OOD/OOP methodologies such as .NET, C#, JAVA, C++, ASP, Visual Basic, XML, PowerShell or similiar object oriented programming
2 years experience with Nant, Ant and automated scripting. Strong Windows scripting skills (Powershell, bat, VBS, WMI)
2 years experience using SCM tools to control all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle including, but not limted to, source code version/revision management, promotion, and build/release management, and issue/change management
2 years experience with troubleshooting, monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems such as WMI, MOM, Perfmon, Service Control Manager
Preferences:
1 year experience as Windows System Administrator or WebSphere Administrator would be a plus
- 1 years experience with WebSphere deployment automation and administration
1 year experience with software change management and version management tools. Experience with Merant PVCS Tracker and Version Manager a plus.
- This is a contract position for at least 6 months.
