The Air Conditioning Systems and Services business of Ingersoll Rand provides heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems that enhance the quality and comfort of the air in homes and buildings around the world. Its offerings, under the Trane and American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning brands, include energy efficient systems, service and parts support and advanced building controls.
Responsible for creating broad advocacy and adoption for Trane and American Standard brand HVAC systems in the builder channel among single and multi-family Residential New Construction (RNC) decision makers, primarily at the national and regional level.
Major Position Roles and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for meeting revenue and profit goals outlined by Residential Solutions (RS) annual operating plan (AOP)
* Responsible for development of builder channel pricing strategies for single-family and multi-family markets that grow our residential HVAC share and revenues in RNC.
* Develop and maintain builder channel 'value proposition' messaging anchored in formal builder presentations, builder literature, etc. that support single-family and multi-family markets
* Develop menu of builder programs that support and leverage parallel Security Hardware builder programs, including the development of 'bundled' HVAC and Security Hardware incentive programs.
* Develop financial analysis tools that allow field sales teams to measure profitability.
* Assist independent wholesales distributors (IWDs) and dealer sales offices (DSOs) in developing aggregate and local-level dealer distribution strategies that can be leveraged in single-family and multi-family markets.
* Analyze and develop new distribution models/supply-chain models that would drive profitability and revenue.
* Assist in developing and maintaining HVAC competitive information to include pricing strategies, program support, distribution strategies, etc.
* Assist in coordinating all builder shows (i.e. International Builders Show, etc.) booth presentation and activities
* Actively participates with Marketing teams providing input for new products, product enhancements, program development, and selling strategies. Assist in development of Product Roadmap strategy needed to drive builder business
* Assist in the development of marketing programs and collateral in support of National Account PEU business
* Works with DSO and IWD personnel to coordinate and facilitate dealer (supply chain)/PEU relationships
* Responsible for managing budget and expense parameters to optimize operating profit
* Develop builder 'win' scorecard that outlines 'baseline' revenue objectives and incoming builder HVAC revenue ('wins').
* Serve as key RS contact within Ingersoll Rand for RNC HVAC Vertical Markets where RS products will be used.
* Bachelors required, MBA desired but not required
* 5 - 10 years in HVAC and/or Residential New Construction sales or marketing roles
* Proven track record in developing and planning strategies with proven results
* Strong Excel, Word and Power Point skills
* Proven leadership and team management skills with strong analytical and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues, to initiate actions, and to make effective decisions
