This is an estimated one year MAX contract position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Redmond, Washington. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

Requirements:

Build Engineer Qualifications:

• As a qualified applicant for this position you will have a strong technical background and experience in meeting deadlines.
  
• Experience with WiX/Windows Installer/MSI packaging technologies **ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT**
  
• MSBuild experience.
  
• Knowledge of C#, PowerShell, XML, VBScript (need to have some development skills in these).
  
• Knowledge of SQL database maintenance and design.
  
• A minimum of 2-4 years in the software field.
  
• Knowledge of and experience using/debugging applicable build processes and Microsoft development tools required.
  
• Knowledge of source code control systems including VSTF, including administration & operation of VSTF - Visual Studio Team Foundation required (Source Depot is OK).
  
• Knowledge of Visual Studio.
  
• Experience writing automation tools and scripts.
  
• Experience with using automated deployment tools such as Octopus preferred.
  
• Able to work with a dynamic team.
  
• Bonus Skill: Experience with Octopus.
