Job Description

Account Executive, Burbank, CA

An international workforce solutions provider to Fortune 500 companies, Superior Staff Resources has an immediate opening for a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to drive new business development in the Burbank, CA market. Superior offers an excellent base salary + uncapped commissions in addition to medical, dental, vision and 401k benefits. This is a great opportunity with an outstanding client base. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to build relationships with local, regional and national level clients. You'll be supported by an experienced staff of recruiters who proactively recruit talent for the business that is generated through your sales activity.  We are looking for a solid leader who enjoys new business development and enjoys networking. This is a wonderful opportunity for a sales person looking to expand their experience or a recruiter looking to grow into sales.


 


Responsibilities will include:


•Developing, expanding and coordinating new and existing business accounts;


•Marketing - presentations and sales meetings;


•Regular customer contact both during and after normal business hours;


•Assisting in the preparation of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP’s);


•Promoting our Corporate image through community and customer relations;


•Candidate and temporary employee management in cooperation with the customer; and


•Customer relations and program reporting.





Required Skills / Qualifications:


Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years of experience within the staffing industry, including at least 1 year of staff augmentation service sales.  They must also possess a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and a serviceable vehicle suitable for business transportation.


Preferred Skills / Qualifications:


The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Art or Science degree or relevant experience; will be confident and comfortable growing existing, long-term relationships as well as growing new business; will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication ability, and must present a positive and professional image.  Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required, as are intermediate internet research skills for prospecting and leads generation.  Active networking memberships/affiliations are key to success in this role.
