Job Title: GIS Developer

Seeking a highly motivated hands on GIS Developer responsible for supporting the Midstream GIS and PODS systems in application development and support initiatives.   Skills / Responsibilities

• Experience and proficiency with Application Development using Silverlight, Jboss, Perl, ExtJS, Business Objects, JSF, Flex, ArcSDE, ArcServer, JQuery, dojo, Arcobjects, Google Earth, PODS
• Additional Preferred skills include Net (C#, ASP) Java, JavaScript, NHibernate/Hibernate, SQL, Tomcat, DB Visualizer or TOAD, HTML, VB Script, XML, PL/SQL
• Midstream GIS ArcGis Server Support                                            
• ESRI ArcSDE Support                 
• ArcMAP Support  
• Experience with PODS, ArcSDE and ArcServer        
• New Century Facility Manager      
• Google Earth Server               
• Google Earth Client 
• Experience with MS SQL and Oracle Database(s)
• Experience with Internet protocols (FTP, HTTP, IP, etc)
• Experience with software package implementations and support                                                                                                                                                     
• Experience with GIS applications is preferred.
• Knowledge of pipeline operations and procedures, computer systems hardware, network and communications configuration, personal computer applications, process control systems, applications and operation of computer support facilities required. 
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to clients' business needs.  Excellent trouble-shooting, and problem solving skills.
• Candidate will provide required rotational on call support for a 24x7 system.
• Experience with Gas & Oil applications preferred.
• Experience with project management concepts, requirements gathering and documentation, SDLC, and testing.
• Ability to produce quality functional and technical documentation.
• Experience and proficiency with Application Development using Java, JavaScript, .Net/C#,  ORACLE PL/SQL
• Effective customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers (front-to-back office)
• Vendor software package implementations and support

 Qualifications:

• 4-6 Years software development experience with business applications
• Technology Design - Generates or adapts application to serve user needs
• Conducts tests to determine whether software or procedures are operating as expected.
• Experience with GIS systems
• Experience with the ESRI product suite
• Microsoft Server concepts
• Some College/Associated Degree
