Brief Job Description:
- Responsible for the global design, definition, and support of the Kao Brands SAP systems in Europe, North America, and Australia.
- Lead and manage moderate sized projects, participate in various in-house and global SAP projects as a team member, maintain detailed project plans, resolve issues, provide knowledge transfer, and assist other SAP Business Analysts and the Business Community.
- Provide outstanding customer support in the: analysis, design, configuration, and maintenance of various SAP modules utilizing best practices. Work within defined SLA metrics. Write requirements documents, functional/technical specifications, and test plans. Document all work using standard methodology.
- Build strong relationships with the business community and work closely with them to: understand current processes, develop innovative solutions, prioritize activities, and troubleshoot SAP functionality.
- Understand local / geographical variations in requirements. Standardize solutions or adapt as it makes sense.
- Self-motivated, independent worker. Willingness to be “on call” and provide support outside normal business hours.
- Possess extensive knowledge of best practices in assigned area and articulate potential benefit/impacts to the business. Work with the business community to implement the best solution matching best practices within the realities of our business.
Job Requirements:
- Technical Skills Requirements:
3 to 5 years of SAP configuration experience in at least one of the major functional areas of SAP (MM,
PP, SD, FI, PLM, etc).
Depth of functional knowledge in a major process area such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay or Finance.
Ability to write requirements documents, functional/technical specifications, test plans etc.
Experience using a structured application delivery methodology.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Strong independent problem solving skills.
- Ability to understand business processes and provide insight to best practices.
- Project / task management and facilitation skills or the ability to learn and apply these.
- Occasional travel required.
