CSG is a growing management and information technology consulting firm that provides strategy and planning, quality management, and system modernization services primarily for state government agencies nationwide.  Founded in 1997, CSG has established itself as a leading provider of innovative information technology solutions throughout the U.S.  Our corporate office is in downtown Chicago.  CSG is seeking business analyst for our national Medicaid and Health Technology Practice.

CSG is seeking experienced Business Analysts with the following skills and experience:

·         Knowledge of clinical and medical terminology and technical concepts

·         Knowledge of clinical workflows.

·         Knowledge or expertise in coding methodologies and guidelines (i.e. CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/ICD-10).

·         Knowledge or expertise in ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT related products (i.e. DSM IV-TR, DRG, APG, APC and HCC).

·         Knowledge of mappers and groupers that are used to derive a diagnosis related group (DRG) with the ICD 9 code set.

·         Knowledge or expertise in billing workflows and associated HIPAA transactions and paper claim forms (CMS 1500, UB 04).

·         Expertise in analysis of clinical policies, procedures and workflows.

·         Knowledge or expertise in Health Information Management.

·         Knowledge and thorough understanding of HIPAA Transactions & Code Sets.

·         Knowledge or expertise in Medicaid coding and billing requirements/guidelines and policies.

·         Knowledge of national HIT initiatives and associated legislation a plus.

·         Expertise working with users to gather, document and track business requirements

·         Expertise serving as an interface between the developers and users to translate business requirements into technical specifications

·         Expertise coaching junior team members in business requirements gathering best practices

·         Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project)

·         Expertise with process flow diagrams

·         Good written and verbal communication skills

·         Willing and able to travel

The following certifications are a plus:

·         CCS (AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist)

·         CPC (AAPC Certified Professional Coder)

·         RHIT (AHIMA Registered Health Information Technician)

·         RHIA (AHIMA Registered Health Information Administrator)
