Please note: These are not IT positions. We have two Business Analyst positions for the Medicare Pharmacy Prior Authorization team. We are not seeking candidates with a focus on back office IT configuration, Help Desk, etc. The ideal candidate will have the needed application exp. with a focus on project implementation, pharmacy authorization, report generation and system documentation.

The Pharmacy Prior Authorization department is rolling out a new system and we need experienced Business Analysts to assist with requirements gathering, project management, and system documentation.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Translating business requirements into workflows, roles and responsibilities and timers.

Ensuring documentation is kept current and updated.

Cataloging and managing a large volume of data templates while maintaining a strict version control system.

Analyze business needs to determine optimal system configuration to meet those needs.

Able to work with stakeholders to gather business requirements for reports.

Determines process improvements related to business application to address specific business needs.

Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.

Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.

Data analytic skills to assist with CMS Universe reporting.

Qualifications

Requires a BS/BA degree, 3-5 years related business analysis, project management and process improvement experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Data Management skills - understanding of SQL/SSRS/Microsoft Dynamics or SharePoint and ability to set up SharePoint sites.

Applied knowledge of SDLC process.

Must able to understand relationship of application front end and back end tables.

UAT experience required.

Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Comfortable using Visio and relating workflows.

Comfortable running a basic SELECT statement on internal databases.
