This is a level III Business Analyst position supporting the Medicaid Duals Health Plan Operations team nationwide. It is a fast-paced, demanding environment. You will be given the training and equipment to work from a home office. You must have a high speed internet connection.

The Business Analyst III is responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.

Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.

Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.

Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.

Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.

May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.


Requires a BS/BA degree, a minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience that includes knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations; or any combination of education and experienced, which would provide an equivalent background.

-Highly skilled in writing SQL queries that join multiple data sources and complex data manipulation

-Familiar with building reports in Visual Studio

-Ability to analyze complex problems and develop multiple workable solutions

-Proficient in Excel, Access and working with large data sets

-Must be able to create reports, analyze them, and report findings in a clear, concise manner.

-Healthcare background a plus.
