Business Analyst

CGI is looking for a business analyst to join a large and growing project with a long-standing client in our Baltimore office. The project provides much needed IT systems services in the Medicare community utilizing Mainframe technologies and has high visibility across the country for the 65 million users of Medicare.

The Business Analyst assists with functional and business analysis, assessment, and system
documentation tasks. His/her primary areas of focus are requirements analysis, data gathering, interview, and system documentation. S/he will support the developers and testers during the development, testing, and implementation phase of the SDLC. The Business Analyst may take part in the evaluation of business process changes for the proposed solutions. S/he may work in collaboration with the Senior Business Analyst to analyze current business processes, suggest improvements and participate in design of new systems or modifications of existing systems by conducting business systems analysis and design, business process flow modeling, and process reengineering.
