About the Job

We are seeking a Business Analyst to be located in the Charlottesville Corporate Office.  Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Information Services, the Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between Finance and IT and will promote communication of user requirements, business requirements, and technological constraints and find solutions to payroll and/or financial issues.

 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills:

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to translate needs of internal and external customers into system requirements.
  • Ability to run SQL queries and write stored procedures.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment by promoting communication and cooperation among staff, peers, and superiors.
  • Ability to develop expertise in a variety of business concepts, practices, and procedures; and
  • Ability to conform to rapidly shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
  •  

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration;

·         Knowledge of SQL Server Database; 

·         Proven computer programming and data analysis experience; advanced Excel skills required;

·         Strong skills in business process analysis, technical requirements analysis and management;

·         Experience with complex payroll functions a plus; and

·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
