THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Corporate IT team.  Qualified candidates will possess experience in formal documentation and analysis of business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Document and analyze business processes
• Work with businesses and support departments to identify solution form meeting objectives.
• Develop detailed user requirement and functional specification documents
• Author and execute test plans to ensure successful implementation
• Work with business unit, project management and application development staff

Requirements:

• BA or BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Experience and understanding in the financial services industry.  Beneficial to understand Institutional and corporate Investment Management and products (i.e. hedge funds, currency management, private equity, etc.)
• Strong process management and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills.  Applicants must provide samples of written communications from prior engagements.
• Experience in quality assurance testing.
• Familiarity with development languages, tools, databases and platforms.  Experience with the following:  HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Internet Protocols, VB/VBA, SQL/Stored Procedures, Unix Scripting; Databases – SQL, Sybase, Oracle, MSAccess; Operating Systems – Unix, Linux
