General Purpose:
The Business Analyst's primary role is to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the actual needs of the project's stakeholders serving as the conduit between the customers and the IT software development team, staying involved in projects throughout the entire software development life cycle.
Primary Requirements:
Lead requirements elicitation effort to identify essential requirements information
Prepare use cases, analyze business processes, and perform workflow analysis
Evaluate and analyze information gathered from multiple sources
Differentiate between presented user requests and underlying true needs
Conflict resolution
Work with the project managers and stakeholders to document the project scope
Manage change control processes and tools
Requirements:
5 or more years of experience dedicated to Business Analysis
CBAP designation
An individual whose primary job responsibilities have been gathering and documenting business, functional, & user requirements
Solid interviewing and facilitation skills
Knowledge of insurance with a focus on health insurance policy administration and claims administration
Terms:
This is a 6 month contract engagement with a high probability for extensions offering an hourly rate based on requested experience from $33-35/hr.
