Business ANalyst

Our client, a fast-paced, growing Commercial Lines Insurance/Surety Company near Madison, WI seeks an experienced, customer service focused individual for their Business Analyst position.

This position will coordinate system updates to web-based policy administration and rating system by writing and reviewing requirements and specifications, communicate changes to vendor and track system changes; provide production support; participate in testing; and test and document requirements for other web-based applications.  Provide production support and assist in testing as needed.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in computer applications, or equivalent, plus 3-7 years IT experience in the commercial property & casualty insurance industry.  Experience implementing web-based applications in a complex production environment, with knowledge of web-based insurance rating/admin system (AQS Advantage system knowledge preferred).  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience writing business requirements and functional specifications.  General knowledge of web application environments.  Excellent customer service skills with well-developed analytic and problem solving skills.
