ASME generates approximately $80 million annually from the sale of products and services and provides a wide range of mission focused programs and activities. We currently are seeking a Business Analyst.

 

As part of the Standards and Certification sector and working with key individuals, the Business Analyst will be responsible for the continued development and expansion of our S&C Electronic Tools by analyzing, developing and overseeing projects to enhance the application(s) and ensure that the needs of our clients are met. This includes continuous communication between vendors/clients/staff, overseeing project deadlines and deliverables, constant testing and updating of application(s), documenting progress reports and identifying systemic needs and help develop solutions. In addition, the Business Analyst will provide on-site and web based conference training to staff and volunteers.

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional experience plus a minimum of 2 years of experience in either technical writing and/or web application development environment. The Business Analyst will also have basic understanding of databases, strong written and verbal communication skills as well as technical communication skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Access or comparable database software. Some travel required.
