Business Analyst will be expected to assist with multiple efforts. This individual will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business needs. The Business Analyst is expected to have excellent Written and Verbal Communications skills, Technical abilities, and some financial industry knowledge and experience.

·         Must have ability to write use cases and business requirement documentation.

·         Ability to interact with an application technology team and translate business requirement documentation into technical functional specifications.

·         Must have the ability to perform technical analysis to include some SQL skills.

Responsibilities (deliverables):

·         Producing functional specification

·         Developing use cases

·         Documenting issues and risks

Required skill set:

·         Strong leadership skills, able to interact and lead meetings with technical/non-technical team members  

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills  

·         Strong analytical skills  

·         Ability to identify, clarify and resolve issues and risks, escalating as needed

·         Experience developing use cases.

·         Experience writing database queries in SQL

·         Experience in all phases of SDLC

·         Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team

·         Knowledge of standard process definitions

Preferred Skill:

·         Working with Oracle/DB2 tables extremely beneficial
