Business Analyst Project Manager

About the Job

The Business Analyst Project Manager will be responsible for developing business requirements and related business rules based on Business Group needs using a combination of business analysis and project management skills on multiple projects as assigned. The BAPM will work closely with Business Unit Partners and Business Subject Matter Expert(s) in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirements. Will identify requirements via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis. The Analyst will solicit requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures and will then work with IT to design the technological solution to meet the business needs.

The BAPM is responsible for ensuring that the product is built according to the requirements and is built correctly and responsible for ensuring that the product is delivered to the customer on time and within budget. In general, the role will include the creation/revision of the following analysis artifacts and deliverables:
• Project Plan (WBS)
• Process Maps
• Business Requirements
• Business Rules
• Acceptance Tests


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct business analysis by documenting use cases, requirements & business rules, business model diagrams, and assisting with the development of training materials and procedures, etc. Creates and executes detailed project plans and work breakdown structures updating as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Ensures accountability and project success by leading the work of others through facilitation of effective meetings; active listening and assignment of tasks to appropriate team members; documenting, tracking and following-up on assigned tasks and issues associated with assigned projects. Manages change control and resolves or escalates project issues with management in appropriate functional area. Consolidates and refines status reports into program level and senior management reports- Develop and provide weekly reports on project statuses. Tracks the progression of assigned projects and conducts regular follow-up with Director and Managers on the progression of the implementation of key tasks and milestones.
Coordinate, assist in project portfolio planning. Effectively apply AHA project methodology and enforce project standards.

BA/BS Degree, in a technology related field or other degree preferred
4-6 years of combined experience in Business Analysis and/or Project Management must be able to demonstrate practical application experience in both business analysis and project management.
Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders Process driven analysis skills and a background in various requirements elicitation methods. Ability to lead and manage a cross-functional project team, building consensus and motivating others to achieve desired outcomes, without organizational authority. Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and support multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment. Professional oral and written communication skills; comfortable communicating with a wide range of people at all levels of the organization
