Senior Systems Engineer
About the Job
- 5-8 years experience administering/troubleshooting Enterprise Windows 2003/2008 environments.
- Experience with:
- Domain controllers
- MS Exchange
- High volume email system
- High volume file servers
- High volume web farm
- Multiple SQL 2008 DB clusters
- Understands performance counters for troubleshooting; covering Network, Disk, ASP.NET, Web Service, File Serving
- Experience setting up, optimizing and securing IIS6. Same with IIS7 is a plus.
- Experienced at securing networks; and thinking like a hacker.
- Familiar with VLANs, DMZs, IDS.
- Focus on thoroughness and excellence – will not rest until an issue is resolved satisfactorily.
- Experience installing and securing Linux distributions is a plus.
- Any programming experience is a plus.
