SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Business Analyst

Opportune are currently seeking a SAP Plant Maintenance Business Analyst to be responsible for day-to-day interaction with SAP business end- and power users in a system stabilization, production support, and minor enhancement capacity. The individual will be expected to liaise with the business community to elicit, document, prioritize, and analyze requirements for SAP system Incidents and Change Requests in their respective functional domain. Adhering to relevant IT policies and guidelines the support analyst will facilitate the remedying of Incidents and introduction of requested system Change Requests in accordance with ITIL compliant processes and within the context of a typical software development lifecycle. In many cases, the role will require the functional analyst to perform SAP system configuration, testing of the configuration, and necessary end- or power user training.

Strong understanding of and demonstrated ability to apply enterprise asset management concepts to business processes via SAP and/or other ERP plant maintenance applications (i.e. - Maximo, etc.).

3+ Years of SAP ECC 6.0 Plant Maintenance (PM) IT support experience in a process industry environment (i.e. - refining, chemicals, etc.).

3-5 Years of diversified informational technology support and delivery experience including familiarity with other common plant management/administration applications such as MCI Track, etc.

Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills for data manipulation, cleansing, harmonization, de-duplication, etc.

Working knowledge of SAP ABAP programming language and related tools preferred.

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical area preferred.
