

Business Analyst - Systems
The application development team is looking for a motivated analyst to focus on requirements, testing and compliance for a number of applications. The candidate will work closely with business partners and a team of developers to:
• Gather requirements and review technical specifications for new or modified functionality interfacing with upstream users/analysts. The analyst/tester will work with the development team to clarify requirements as needed and to ascertain level of effort and feasibility. The analyst will be required to write technical specifications, analysis artifacts and other supporting documentation as needed.
• The analyst/tester is also responsible for system testing of all code delivered against requirements and for leading the test process and defect management. This includes all test documentation such as test plans, test cases, RTMs, test execution and test result documentation. The incumbent will manage the logging and tracking of defects until closure. The analyst/tester should be capable of overseeing the test process on projects where he/she is not actively doing the testing.
• The analyst/tester should acquire an in-depth knowledge of corporate SDLC policies and other technology policies/standards as they pertain to the project. The incumbent will be expected to ensure project compliance with these standards as well as provide guidance to other team members in this area. He/she will compile metrics and report status in this area.
The analyst/tester may be required to work on multiple concurrent projects and tasks. He/she should have good analytic and problem solving skills. He/she should have good written and verbal communication abilities. It would be preferred if the candidate has a good understanding of the mortgage market and data structures and factors impacting borrowers in today’s market.
· 5 years of related requirements/analysis experience
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
· Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
· Knowledge of requirement tools, such as Rational Requisite Pro
· Strong analytical skills
