The MIL Corporation, selected one of the “Top 50 Companies” in the Washington Metropolitan area, is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support a government client in Washington, D.C.

Job Overview:

The Senior Systems Administrator is a new position that will give this individual the opportunity to lead in the restructuring of a network security system from the ground-up using Microsoft platforms.  Our client has an existing network infrastructure and it is the goal of this position to upgrade that to a more secure environment for its users.  This person will work on-site at a government agency, interacting with high-level MIL and government managers.

Job Requirements:

• 10 years experience working in a Microsoft environment
  
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure
  
• Exchange 2007 clustering and high availability experience
  
• Experience security hardening Windows 2003/2008
  
• 3 years experience with VMware
  
• MCITP certification (Current)
  
• MCSE 2003 certification (previously held is OK)
  
• Prior government contracting experience is a plus
