
BUSINESS APPLICATIONS ANALYST, SENIOR Freddie Mac McLean, VA At Freddie Mac, you’ll play a part supporting the company’s role in the economic recovery as you make home possible and support the President’s Making Home Affordable program. A vital component in the secondary mortgage market, Freddie Mac has made home ownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable for over 50 million families across America. Applying an in-depth knowledge of project management tools and experience with project/product lifecycle management, the senior-level Business Applications Analyst will manage complex infrastructure initiatives, plus implementation of systems for new products or processes, or current product or process enhancement. This position is responsible for developing, packaging and delivering new initiatives and support documentation to the business area. Primary functions include, but are not limited to: · Leading complex data collection and analysis activities, while conducting data modeling and researching alternatives for the development of business requirements, as well as conflict resolution and decision-making facilitation activities · Analyzing business needs pro proposed new business products and processes; providing the business area a turn-key solution of new products, plus changes/modifications to existing ones · Developing and maintaining information and documentation related to developing/modifying business processes and systems; developing and enhancing systems by bring specific business knowledge to the technical design process · Reviewing system documentation to identify how a system might impact the business application’s systems · Researching processes and writing business requirements · Troubleshooting procedural and process issues with applicable business areas; escalating issues as necessary · Addressing requests from end-users/customers regarding system hotlines, issues and ad hoc reports · Preparing system documentation and detailed system test cases · Performing operational risk impact reviews for new terms of business via BCI/non-BCI change requests and initiatives We prefer applicants with: · Working knowledge of Loss Mitigation activities · Experience with foreclosure avoidance and REP Asset Management All qualified candidates must have: · Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or a relevant field (or work/education equivalent) · Minimum 5 years’ business applications experience that include s project management tools · Strong SDLC, writing and change management capabilities · Excellent verbal/written communication skills Freddie Mac is an equal opportunity employer who firmly supports and recognizes the value of diversity and inclusion.
