The Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Rehabilitation and Liquidation (Receiver) seeks a Business Applications Senior Programmer. This position performs business system analysis and programming to develop information technology solutions.
Duties include, but are not limited to: Analysis of business system problems, opportunities, and solutions; design of systems and programs to meet business objectives; data analysis and conversion; and computer system programming.
Requires some travel on short notice.

Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, management information systems, information systems, computer engineering, and/or mathematics and three years experience in computer programming, computer engineering, computer science, web design, information systems, and/or mathematics, or
Seven years experience in computer science, management information systems, information systems, computer engineering, and/or mathematics and three years experience in computer programming, computer engineering, computer science, web design, information systems, and/or mathematics, or
One year as a Business Applications Programmer with the Receiver.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in one or more of the following:
· Microsoft Visual Studio, specifically Visual Fox Pro, Visual C++, Visual Basic
· Microsoft .NET
· Microsoft SQL Server
· Windows 2003 Network
· HTML, ASP and/or Java programming languages
