Position Description: Business Developer - Landscaping

We currently have a full time position available for a Business Developer who will partner with our branch management team to develop new business leads in the local area. This position requires strong customer service, experience selling large commercial site development projects and the ability to work closely with the branch team to ensure exceptional results.
Business Developer is also responsible for:
Gathering and analyzing customer needs and interests; building strong business relationships and providing solutions to challenges Providing customers with clear and easy to understand information pertaining to all of our high quality services Delivering and following up on bid packages to ensure that clients have enough information to make an informed decision Successfully communicating Company’s commitment to quality and passion for the landscape industry Partnering with branch management to develop business according to branch business strategy and Company guidelines Maintaining open lines of communication with internal staff Managing multiple leads and proposals to ensure that the branch has a healthy pipeline of activity
Position Requirements: Requirements:
Experience selling large commercial site development projects; experience developing business to business contacts with decision making authority Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management or related Experience with bid process, local knowledge and contacts Excellent oral and written communication skills Organized and able to manage time Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
