The Business Development/Account Manager will become an integral part of expanding our business, and will also be involved in the fascinating world of High Tech. Summary/Responsibilities:

Volt Workforce Solutions is a large and reputable recruiting firm with a strong established presence and relationships with some of the larger firms in the area. You will be asked to develop new and maintain established business with firms in the area to provide solutions to their staffing needs. Some of your primary responsibilities would consist of:


  • Managing assigned territory
  • Servicing and developing additional business opportunities within current customer base
  • Generating business from new accounts
  • Generating leads through prospecting and cold calling, both in-person and via telephone
  • Researching potential business and current customers
  • Maintaining active participation and membership in networking organizations
  • Meeting all minimum requirements for weekly appointment activity and revenue growth
  • Completing all required sales reports and detailed documentation by weekly deadlines

This is a Full Time, In-House position with Volt Technical Resources, a leading national provider of Staffing Services, Telecommunications and Information Solutions for its Fortune 100 customer base. Operating through a network of over 300 Volt Services Group locations, the Staffing Services segment fulfills IT and other technical, commercial and industrial placement requirements of its customers, on both a temporary and direct hire basis. The Telecommunications and Information Solutions businesses provide complete telephone directory production and directory publishing; a full spectrum of telecommunications construction, installation and engineering services; and advanced information and operator services systems for telephone companies. Requirements:

Required Skills for this In-House Business Development/Account Manager position include the following:


  • Must have a "hunter mentality"
  • Proven Sales experience; minimum of one year of outside Sales experience preferred in the Staffing industry
  • Ability to successfully communicate – both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to follow through and provide excellent customer service
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Must demonstrate sound business judgment and decision-making skills
  • Intermediate computer skills to include Word, Outlook and the Internet
  • Interpersonal skills
