Looking for a Business Development Associate to support a rapidly growing international marketing and project Management Company headquartered in the Washington, D.C. metro area is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill a key position. The company specializes in the defense, product and technology sectors and covers defense OEM and defense integrator, and US DOD defense markets in the United States or via the US Foreign Military Sales process to global friends and allies. 


 


The Business Development Associate will support the Business Development Managers and Director by relieving administrative burden. 




  • The Associate will assist with preparation of correspondence, drafting of Teaming Agreements, Technical Assistance Agreements, Proprietary Information Exchange Agreements, responses to Requests for Proposals, Information, Quotations and Sources Sought. 


  • The Associate will be responsible for entering and maintaining the data base of sales order tracking, maintaining customer relations through scheduling of meetings and events and processing foreign visit requests. 


  • The Associate will be responsible to conduct daily searches of business opportunities through government websites and bulletin boards. 


  • The Associate will track ongoing business activities ensuring compliance with customer and business unit requirements and maintain project and program folders on each activity. 


  • The Associate will demonstrate initiative and perform other duties as directed to support business unit goals.

The Business Development Associate should posses a 4 year college degree in a related field and 4+ years of administrative and program management support experience. 


Knowledge of US Department of Defense programs is desired. 


The position requires an individual to work in a very fast pasted environment and be flexible to changing priorities. 


The associate should be able to anticipate the needs of the Business Development Managers and proactively problem solve. 


Candidate must have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft software including Excel, Word, Power Point, Data Base, programs.


Personal qualities should include high energy, excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, focused, and a true team player; with outstanding communications skills, the ability to listen, and the desire to “do whatever it takes” to get the job done.
