Job Description

Business Development Consultant – ENGINEERING SERVICES: 5 positions

Location: one each in 5 regions – Northeast, Southwest, Midwest, Southeast, Western

Looking for COMMISION BASED Business Development Consultants for an established Engineering Services Provider focusing mainly Consumer & Industrial, Automotive & Aero, Utilities,  Oil & Gas and Process industries. Excellent commission opportunity and a fixed monthly portion can also be mutually discussed and offered for deserving professionals.
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities:

-> Represents firm's engineering services to Consumer & Industrial, Automotive & Aero, Utilities,  Oil & Gas and Process industries
-> Includes identifying sales opportunities, developing relationships and contracts, and closing sales

-> Having a good engineering understanding of engineering services that can be offered and effectively promoting such services to the market

Requirements:
-> Should possess H1b, work permit, green card or a US national.
-> Bachelor or Masters degree in engineering
-> Engineering sales experience in the USA. Company will provide all the required sales material and also spend time for important meetings with prospects/
-> Solid background in mechanical engineering services. He / She can also sell other services offered by the company that include Civil and Structural Engineering
-> General understanding of product design, FEA (finite element analysis), piping design and stress analysis is a strong plus
-> Track record demonstrating ability to establish relationships, develop, maintain, and increase a base of business, close sales and effectively manage sales territory
-> Motivated, self-disciplined, and having strong inter-personal and communication skills
-> Ability to speak with customers about engineering design and analysis subjects
-> Must meet/exceed minimum annual sales goals
-> Existing customer base and contacts a big plus
