The Opportunity:

FORTIS is searching for a talented Business Development Director to help expand the growing search and professinal staffing practice in Orange County.  The Business Development Director will be strongly networked and will have proven success building business relationships in the Orange County, CA business community.  As a Business Development Director you must have strong relational sales background, and have the ability to create a trusted advisor relationship with prospects and clients.  In this role, you will be responsible for developing new client relationships.  You must be a strategic business thinker, active listener, and an analytical consultant whose core strengths are client networking, relationship building, presenting, advising, and closing business.

Additional Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and two years experience selling in the staffing industry, preferably in the specialty of accounting and finance, selling to C-level or have a background in accounting or finance with a strong business development desire

Must show evidence of a proven track record in a business to business consultative sales environment, appointment setting, making sales presentations and growing and expanding a book of business

Evidence of a strongly networked business development background is highly desired as this shortens your sales cycle significantly

Must be self-motivated, self directed, highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks
